The ultrasonic plate vibrates up to 30,000x per second, atomizing conditioner into ultra tiny micro particles that can penetrate low & high porosity hair. It also emits negative ions which give the particles a negative electrical charge. Since like charges repel, the negative particles are pushed away from the negative plate and into the hair.

This warmth creates a depolarization effect on the hair cells, making them more positively charged.
